SDV INTERNATIONAL Participates in USAID Summit in Washington, DC
WASHINGTON, D.C. – SDV INTERNATIONAL participated in a U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) conference at the JW Marriott, a few blocks from the White House in July. The day-long event provided a forum for international development experts from the public and private sectors to share a dialog about programs in developing countries. SDV INTERNATIONAL led discussions with international development partners from Africa and Asia, including USAID and the Export-Import Bank of the United States, to explore collaborative development solutions for the regions.
Notable senior government executives participated in the event, including USAID Administrator Mark Green, House Small Business Committee Member [Congressman] Steve Chabot, USAID OSDBU Director Mauricio Vera, State Department OSDBU Director George Price, U.S. Small Business Administration Associate Administrator Robb Wong, and others.
Following the event, SDV INTERNATIONAL co-sponsored a networking reception with the Small Business Association of International Companies (SBAIC.org) at the prestigious City Club of Washington, where officials from the event engaged in further dialog. SBAIC.org is a non-profit organization that was established to promote the meaningful utilization of U.S. small businesses at U.S. government agencies that provide foreign assistance. SDV INTERNATIONAL’s President, Jason Roys, currently serves as the Co-Chair for Outreach at SBAIC.org.
